2015 is here! May it be happy, may it bring peace and prosperity, may it bring good health for everyone! May it be filled with light!
We had a very quiet celebration at home saying goodbye to 2014 and sharing a meal:
Today we just stayed at home, children played with their New Year’s Day Presents, we read aloud and played games
Watched the movie (The Lord of the Rings!- first time for kiddos), the cat wanted to be a part of everything 😀
And now it’s time for much planning and a little bit of studying too
The concept for this year is HARMONY! And this is our major goal, just to be in tune with each other and our surroundings. 2014 was all about racing from one thing to another, we were constantly stressed out… So, this is the first year when I set no “countable” challenges such as” xyz books a year” or “cook something new x many times a month”. The main challenge would be to get to know my loved ones and myself better. To enjoy each other’s company. To be better people.
My most beloved quote for a New Year’s Day is from Neil Gaiman and these words pretty much sum up all I want to accomplish:
May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art — write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself. –Neil Gaiman
Happy New Year!!!
